The IoT-based smart greenhouse uses solar energy to enhance agricultural efficiency through automation and real-time monitoring. It includes a solar tracking system, battery management, and temperature control with a drip irrigation system to conserve water. The system supports remote access for monitoring and manual adjustments, ensuring sustainable crop productivity in Ladakh’s climate.

Description: Ladakh, at an average altitude of 11,000 feet, is one of India’s most remote regions, with over 300 sunny days annually. Due to rugged terrain, many areas lack central power, relying instead on costly diesel generators or small solar stations. The solar workstation powered by vertical and horizontal solar blinds provides a dual solution for renewable energy and shading. Designed for harsh conditions, it ensures reliable power during summers and winters when hydroelectric power is unreliable. This workstation uses solar blinds for energy capture and includes an MPPT charge controller and inverter for compatibility with conventional appliances, enhancing energy efficiency for off-grid communities in Ladakh.

This project focuses on designing a solar-powered portable power station with integrated functionalities such as a Bluetooth speaker and charger. It harnesses solar energy for a reliable power source for off-grid applications. Featuring efficient solar panels, a lithium-ion battery, and a charge controller, it ensures safety and efficiency. The station is lightweight, weather-resistant, and ideal for remote and emergency use. The journal details its architecture, circuit design, and practical applications as a multifunctional power solution.
